Water, sewer, and sanitation services are provided by the Public Services Department. To sign up for new service, call Utility Billing at 336-667-7129, ext. 3006 or visit us in person at 832 Main Street North Wilkesboro M-F 8am-5pm. 

Water Rates

In Town: Base Charge is $10.03, with an additional charge of $4.39 per 1,000 gallons. 

Out-of-Town: Base Charge is $15.05, with an additional charge of $6.59 per 1,000 gallons. 

Sewer Rates (based on water consumption)

In Town: Minimum Charge is $5.07, with an additional charge of $4.28 per 1,000 gallons.

Out-of-Town: Minimum Charge is $7.61, with an additional charge of $6.43 per 1,000 gallons.
