The Finance Department provides financial services for the Town of North Wilkesboro.

Fire

The mission of the North Wilkesboro Fire Department is to provide fire suppression, fire prevention, and fire inspections to the town's 4,500 residents and businesses as well as Hazardous Material Response and Emergency Medical Service.

Community Development

Parks and Recreation

The Recreation Department coordinates a wide variety of activities within the Town and Wilkes County. Included are activities including those at Smoot Park Swimming Pool and programs held at the Woodlawn Community Center.

Planning & Inspections

The Department of Planning and Inspections serves to protect the safety and welfare of the public and enhance the general quality of life for the citizens of North Wilkesboro.
