The Wilkes Industrial Park is one of North Carolina's largest Certified Industrial Parks. The park has approximately 497 acres and a wide variety of sites to choose from. The Wilkes Industrial Park has a new southern access road, and thanks to a grant from the Golden LEAF Foundation the northern access road is being constructed, opening several pads up for development. The Wilkes Industrial Park is currently the home of JELD-WEN, Woodpecker Properties, and Haynes Insulation.
