The Town of North Wilkesboro has demonstrated its commitment to Economic Development by establishing the Wilkes Industrial Park here in North Wilkesboro.


The Wilkes Industrial Park is one of North Carolina's largest Certified Industrial Parks. The park has approximately 497 acres and a wide variety of sites to choose from. The Wilkes Industrial Park has a new southern access road, and thanks to a grant from the Golden LEAF Foundation the northern access road is being constructed, opening several pads up for development. The Wilkes Industrial Park is currently the home of JELD-WEN, Woodpecker Properties, and Haynes Insulation.
